Default New engine has life!!!!

Tonight I finally got the beast to fire up!!!
At first, timing was 180* out so I fixed that and she roared to life!!
Awwwwe man does it sound awesome!! The throttle response is fast and crisp!! If it runs anywhere near the way it sounds then I'm in for one hell of a ride!
I still need to install the drive shaft and hook up the shifter linkage before it's mobile.
It will be spring before it's street legal but I'm sure I'll sneak some test runs down the alley every now and then....
Tomorrow night I'll run it some more for the initial break in of the cam and dial in the timing. It was getting late and I don't need to tell anyone here what 2 chamber Flowmasters sound like.
I have decent neighbors so I wanted to be respectful because some of little kids that need to get up for school and not to mention the people who need to get up early for work.......and my girlfriend who was getting cranky that I was out there all evening

Alright!!!! Glad to hear you got her running. It is always nice to hear it run when you have been working on it a long time. I can tell you from experience that neighbors and two chamber flows with turn downs do not mix well. My neighbors really hate it when I fire it up with just the longtubes. I never do it at night though. Like you said, there are people trying to sleep.
