Backfiring problem
About half the time when I upshift to third while driving hard I get a loud backfire out of the exhaust. I have a leak where my h-pipe (no cats) hooks together, crossover pipe?anyway could a leak that far down cause this? The bottom end has a lot of miles and #2 plug stays wet with oil, all others look good and all 8 have good compression, I thought maybe #2 was fouling at high RPM and loading header with fuel causing the backfire but perhaps it would do it at other times if there is that much blowby?Other than this problem it never misses or anything, runs real strong. What do you guys think?sorry so long
