Question What's the trick to installing MAC LT's for an AOD?

So far I have installed 2 sets of BBK longtubes on 5-speed cars. We can do it in less than an hour now. I actually prefer them over installing shorties now. However, we tackled some MAC AOD longtubes today and it looks challenging to say the least.

The motor is jacked up and has 2x4 squares between the motor mounts and the K-member.

The starter is off.

The upper intake and cold air is off.

All the smog tubes are gone.

The instructions say that both sides go in from under the car. I tried several angles and it's not happening. What gives? Does the motor need to be higher? Car need to be jacked up more? The headers are ceramichromed so banging them around for hours is not an option.

Anyone who has installed AOD longtubes please give advice. If you only know about 5-speed installations then no need to respond. Thanks.
