How wide will these 15 inch rims need to be to be able to run any kind of decent grabbing strip tire??
My little bro runs M/t et on factory LX 10 holes.

I plan to run them on a set of turbines.

look how hard the 10.5 tire guys run and that's harder than alot of cars running a wider tire but there suspentions are set up to the max.

with a full stock rear stiffer springs arent always better because the make the bushing the binding point and break contact when the bushing unloads

as for boxing the rear lower control arms here's a link for it.

if your try this try and find some from a 4 cyl car they have smaller bushings http://www.stangcrazy.com/tech/techa...kcntrlarms.htm

You've mentioned you don't have any money right now. Well look at it this way for right now,...you're no traction car is a good thing for you now! As soon as you hook... say good-by to your transmission. Your asking about transmission leaks, bubbles in the fluids..etc.in other forums...DUDE AVOID DRIVING THE CAR RIGHT NOW!!
If you break down some-where you are most likely going to need a tow...$$$$. Look at this way,the less you drive it,the less work it is going to need. I know,.. "the hell with it".... right...trust me man, just be patient.
After the trans is fixed, then work on your traction stuff.

Yeah but it's my only car and my dad won't let me take his....and the motorcycle isn't good for most circumstances.

I didnt think about hooking it being harder on the tranny but I guess that makes sense. I'm just tired of nailing it and spinning multiple gears. Yesterday I spun through 3rd gear...could hardly believe it. Damn cheap tires.

I guess I'll talk to a buddy of mine...he has a built C4 for sale for fairly cheap. It'd be a nice fix...but god, the gas mileage would be HORRIFIC. Probably not worth it.

Oh and I asked UMC about the AOD tranny and he just sold it.
