Thumbs down Problem with Steeda firewall adj.?

After about a year a year and a half of my car being in retirement I finally got it fixed. I replaced the clutch, cable and added the firewall adjuster. Now I have to keep my foot down on the pedal to keep it from chattering and the release bearing from whining. The guy who put it in said he followed the instructions on getting the pedal to stop shaking but it didn't help any .

Just wondering if there's any I could try to get it to stop. Also it keeps popping out of 2nd.

Thanks for any advise.

Sounds to me like you have much deeper problems than a firewall adjuster. No matter how messed up your cable is it wont cause the problems you described.

Agreed - you've got tranny problems.
