BXR intake opinions
Anyone on the board know of anyone who is using this intake? Are they worth the price? How does it perform compared to the all the other intakes on the market? Any and all info is appreciated.

Treu...they will destroy just about any other intake out there. When was the last time you looked down the runner of a 5.0 intake and saw the intake valve? But they're insanely expensive. Mostly because of the modified (belt-driven I believe) distrubtor that you NEED because a stock type won't fit under the massive intake. The removable plenum covers are nice though. If you want more torque, slap on a different plenum. Or go with the high rpm plenum. A lot of the vacuum lines and such are a bit of a pain and you have to buy a kit to use A/C. All in all...is it a kick @ss intake? Yes. Is it worth the $1000+ you'll pay after adding up the options? That's a matter of opinion. And dispite it's odd appearence it can be supercharged. Damn that would be soooooo wicked. But if you're Mr. Moneybags they who cares? Buy it and run it. I'm personally suprised they're still in business...seeing as they charge so much.
