Default 1 inch spacer?

I know that most of the time you will pick up power from a spacer on a carbed motor. The thing is this, do you guys still think there is more power to be had when I already have the super victor intake on my combo? See my signature. I am really looking at it for the ease of changing jets. (Alot less things in the way if it is 1 inch higher)
And yes, it will fit under my hood.
Thanks
