My girlfriend just brought her's in to get the ignition recall done (switch got so bad the car wouldn't stay running unless the coil was hotwired). When she got it back the turn signals didn't work.

After some probing I unscrewed the multifunction switch and found the plastic connector for the turn signal wires had a broken clip on the inside. The supply wire from the fuse box was practically hanging out.

There was previously an alarm installed and the retaining hook was broken off so I think someone messed with it. Anyway, I plugged the connector back in, pushed all the wires in snugly, and voila! Blinkers work again.
