![]() There was a Ford TSB out awhile back but this was for later years like 96 and above OBDII cars. Something like code 600 rom failure and it stated check ECU for aftermarket chips and remove.
Didnt know you would actually get the code with earlier ECU's. I had a JMS chip in my 93 and it worked just fine. Where does yours plug in. Service port on the side? I could see getting it that way. The chip may just shut the original ROM down and thats how it gets its strategy into the ECU w/out it relearning a way around it.
