Which S/C?
Hi I never boosted a engine and I want to boost my 347 going into my 90gt 5spd (t5 with king cobra) runs strong, Was looking into getting a Novi 1000 5-6psi satin kit to have some fun with since my car is a daily driver, Im goin with some edelrock heads, shorty headers, a 65mm TB, 24# injectors stock fuel pump for now, and TFS street heat upper and lower intake. What do you guys think, what do you think about the TB size and INjector size cause I got them before I wanted to go s/c so I wanna see if I can use them with a 5-6psi s/c.

TB size should be fine and injectors will be perfect as long as you keep at a low psi. IMO

You'll want a bigger fuel pump if your still running the stock one. At least a 190lph, but a 255 would be a better choice.

What's your combo on the 347? You are going to either use one hell of a FMU or change injectors. I would switch to 42#'s and a maf to match. The N1K is not really designed for larger displacement motors you would have better luck picking up a used N2K especially if you ever want more from your combo (and you always want that).
Edit: Also you are going to want a fuel pump do it right the first time and pickup a GSS340 it is a 255lph high pressure high volume and it is kick *** it will support 500rwhp with the rest of the fuel system being stock (well aftermarket inj.).

The combo on the 347 is mild and were keeping the compresion low thats what I figured a novi1k and then later on ditch the 24#ers and FMU for 42#ers

I wouldn't even bother with 24# injectors the first time around. It will just turn into a pain to tune and might not provide enough fuel up top anyways. I have a low compression stroker also and think that the 1000 will be a bit on the small side...

I think the 1000 would be fine. Supposedly they come rated at 5-6psi and can go up to 13. My buddy put one of his mild 302 and gained 100rwhp. I would go with at least 30lbs injectors though, and you might as well just go to 36 or 42 like everyone said if you have to buy them anyway.

I have a set of BBk underdive pulleys, would they affect the s/c at all?

If you do a older 1K if not it won't the 1K is the only supercharger that I know of for a fox that uses the serp belt for power. I beleive the newer kits now use a different belt so in that case you will have to remove the underdrives to install the blower.

Yes I realize boost is more a measure of restriction. But I did not know what kind of cfm the novi 1000's flow, and I just wanted to make the point that they are capable of spinning a lot faster than the stock pulleys they come with. From what I read, it seems like he has a mild 347 which I would think he wouldn't spin that high to begin with. So if you do choose the 1000, you would want to buy a smaller blower pulley to be where you want. And supposedly the 1000's can be pullied flow a good amount of air for an entry blower, although when pushing it to it's limits, it's not going to be as efficient.

The Novi 1k will support 10's and 125+mph trap speeds. It is capeable of 15 psi max. The 'old style' 1k's used a single belt to drive the blower and the accessories...using an underdrive pulley would spin the blower slower and make less boost, if any at all. The 'new style' 1k's have a two belt setup.
