![]() Definately sounds like heat sink on the starter. As for the auto does it shift early even when floored? Be sure to check the TV cable that would cause early and harsh shifts. If you don't fix it the tranny will take a ****. I am not real sure how they work on fords (since I have never owned a ford auto nor have my freinds) but with Gm's you bend a tab then floor the gas and it is set.
