Default smog pump vacuum lines

I took off my smog pump and all that goes with it. But what do I do with the vacuum lines that conected to those check valve things next to the passenger side header. Do I plug them up or leave them open? And what should I do with the tube that goes to the back of the heads. Plug the tube opening or leave it open?? thanks.

I capped them off on my car and everything works out great but I also have no cats.

Ford dealer sells the plugs (threaded holes)for the back of the heads. It takes a big flat head screwdriver to put them in. I use two regular bolts instead, (No clearance for screwdriver.) I think they were 7/8's about 3/4 inch long. The Ford plugs are a few bucks.

Did you have to tap the openings first? I just cut the tubes off the thick metal plates and welded the holes up.

The heads are already threaded for the plugs/bolts you put in, Trickflow sells a set real cheap too, it's who I got mine from and they work great.

What I ended up doing because I was short on time was take a small piece of the smog pump rubber hose stuck a bolt in it, hose clamped the bolt, then on the other end hose clamped it to the tube that connects to the back of each head. Made 4 passes at the dragstrip today and it's still on. This fall maybe I'll be able to afford a set of aluminum heads, then I'll take care of this right away. With all the vacuum hoses that were attached to those smog pump valves plugged everything seems fine. That was my biggest concern. I didn't want a check engine light to come on because of a vacuum problem related to the smog system. Thanks for the help.

But if I threaded it into the threaded hole wouldn't that only plug up the bolt hole and not the exhaust hole next to it?

I took out the tube that connects to the h or x pipe. Basically all I did was take out all the smog stuff and plug the tube that connects to the back of the heads. As far as the x pipe goes I didn't plug the bung on that yet.
