No, you only need the weight to calculate your horsepower. Makes no difference in acceleration numbers. My experiance with it was pretty good, within 1 to 2 tenths off. And that was the old Gtech Pro. Plus I love hooking it up to everybody's slow car to see what it runs, it's pretty fun.
