My Tahoe has given me fits, I have not had to do motor work yet but I am on my third tranny this one a GM direct unit that cost 1700
 for parts and I did the labor. Its a real pain in the ass, and now it is making a weird whinning which may be the rearend exiting stage right (I am begining to hate this thing).However it looks like because of the GF we maybe getting a new tahoe looks like I am gonna invest in a extended warranty!
