Many people use the lift plate, no problem.
I personally do the 2 stock lift hooks (pieces of metal attached to the exhasut ports on #2 and #8, so that I can use a load-leveler and balance the motor and rock it how I need to... ![]() (this was the first time I pulled the motor WITHOU tranny, as I already had the TKO out for repairs...)
