smoke under heavy acceleration
Hey guys,
I was driving the stang today with my friend following me in his car. While on the interstate I decided to show off a little so I downshifted and took off. Later on, My friend said that when I took off there was some smoke coming out of my exhaust. I've seen this before on other cars, under heavy acceleration they would smoke a little.... what the heck is that all about?

A lot of foxes blow smoke during downshifting, accelerating hard etc. There age is catching up to them. It could be your valve seals or piston rings, either way I wouldnt worry about it unless theres a lot of smoke. I know quite a few stangs that puff out a little smoke during hard driving and have been doing it for a couple years.
