			 At what point of E.T. or horse power level is sub frame connectors and or a cage needed in a fox body. I know sub frame connectors should be used in any performance fox body. Can mid to low 12's with slicks twist up the body. I would like to do something with my 89 2.3 LX coupe, maybe a 351W or 5.0 and keep the interior stock with no roll cage. 			 Sub-frames are benificial to even a stock mustang.  I'd put them on ASAP. 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
			According to the NHRA you need a 6 point roll bar to run 11.99 or faster in a hardtop and 13.99 or faster in a vert. You need a 10 point roll cage to run 9.99 or faster. -Josh, aka the tireburner

	And something to help in the torque box area too.   IHRA has upped the bar and cage rules this year too I think. You might want to look at that as well if needed.  |
