Default new clutch, just rebuilt T5

I just got the T5 rebuilt and put in a new clutch. The clutch feels like Im pushing on air, not that Im complaining. But anyway, I was just wondering if I have to break the transmission in. I just put it in two days ago and it only has about 25 miles on it. Im just anxious to see what it can do and want to know how long I have to wait.

Take it easy on the tranny and clutch for about 500 miles. If you change your fluid to redline AFT after the 500 miles, you should feel an even bigger improvement.

I just swapped in a new t5 on mine , its currently got gear oil in it, that it came with. Can I swap for redline to it before the 500 is up?

Its better to wait since the redline is so slick, the parts may not break into each other as well. Same reason why you never run a freshly build engine on full synthetic oil.
