engine stalling
Hey guys I bought a ford mass air meter about a year ago but never put it on till yesterday. I bought the meter through the this sites classifieds. The meter was a 70mm for 19lbs. injectors. I installed it but the bolts didnt fit the way they should but tried to rig it in place and connected it. It didnt think it would stay so I just put the original meter back on. Then when I went for a spin it would not take off quick enough. To me it seemed like the car wasnt getting enough fuel. I put the pedal to the floor and it would not take off, it would just jerk. What could it be? Its should be the transmission because its been overhauled. Did the meter I put on mess something up. Any info would be great. Thanks guys!

Check the connection to the MAF, and also make sure a wire didn't break. Did you unhook the battery before you tried switching them?
