Default I need a new computer for my 1990 5.0

Where is the best place to pick up a computer for my Stang? I have pretty much determened that the cause of my idle problems is a faulty computer.

Not much is up on Ebay. Autozone and the like wanted about 100 bucks for one, but I am not sure if they would have ordered the correct unit. They didn't really know what they were talking about. Anyway, guys over at RHC pointed me to this, so I am going to give them a call Tuesday.

Call N.P.C automotive computers (toll free number)
1-866-ecm4car
or
1-866-326-4227

Monday through Friday
8:30am – 6:00pm CST and
Saturday
8:30am – 5:30pm CST

They do good work, and have a lifetime guarantee on all their ECM's.

Even though the guys/gals at autozone may not know what they are talking about, they can get you the correct computer. We have bought a couple A9L's from autozone. Thing is, they paint the ECU's black right over the cal sticker. Just scrap off the paint to verify the calibration to be what you need.

The price is right at autozone and the product is the same. These processors have at least been tested and can be exchanged.

GRIN!

Now's an excellent time to rip out all that fuel injection crap and put a nice holley on it!

seriously though , there is THE definitive mustang supply yard, "menards" up in nh, mountains of just fox mustangs. If you are going to mailorder, they can send you one for like $150 : 603-887-4049
