Default car floods out in first gear??

i have an 88 gt with basic mods (f-cam,shaved heads, ported heads ,msd 6al, and some more but anyways when i got to take off in first it seems to flood its self or dies out for a second then pics right up and i can go side ways even after it pics up all in first any ideas??

ok my 88gt floods out in first gear and when i rev it a bit it will do it.. i'll go and take off and it will just kinda die but i let off and try agian it goes like hell
is that better rev427??

That's about the same thing I was thinking, LX5Liter. I'm also wondering about the effect of manifold vacuum on that, too. He does have an F-cam...

well the last time i checked it was low like 25

i bought the engine off a guy i know really well and the car ran great it would run 12.9 all day and i have everything he had i bought all his stufff engine tranny 4:30s. i dont have a fuel gague on me but i'll check it agian and get back u guys thanks
