Default Efi 298?

Just curious...

Could the top end of a 302, (heads, intake, EFI setup from a 87-93) be bolted up to a 289 with relatively little effort?

I have always wondered.... I thought it would be neat to see a 87-93 GT with 289 instead of a 302 in it, however it would have be Fuel Injected with the stock mustang intake.

again just curious... and I am well aware, that there is no replacement for displacement...

thanks...

Err, yeah... if its a mass air car, the computer really doesn't care what sort of displacement the engine has, just so long as the cam is of the HO variety (351 firing order)
