This is what I have to work with. Battery (after I got to thinking about it) is where it is now because of the stock fuel tank. Once that leave, my options are a bit more flexible. Right now I have about 17" or so between the back of the battery box, and the back of the hatch.

I'm also gonna have to get rid of the spare tire well, and build a rear firewall. Arrrgh!!! On a good note, the car is getting VERY good at sucking up cubic dollars! hehehe

Close up of my bottle, thought you guys would get a kick out of it. Have a "d-Con Racing" decal on the car too, and the best part of it is that none of the bowtie MOUSE motor guys seem to get it. hehehehehe

Even closer up of the bottle. I'm such a smart ass. The big black flag reads "Dead rodents start to appear 11 - 12 seconds after spraying." Guess I'm gonna have to change that too! HA! I also have the obligatory "Keep out of reach of children (and some adults), inhalation may cause laughter, and extensive use may lead to the winner's circle."

Well thanks dude! 420'S car is Wild Strawberry (I'm pretty sure!!) and the pics just don't do my paint any justice at all. Mine is a QUAD coat Laser Red with ghost flames. The flames are a little more hidden than I wanted, but they're cooler than I thought this way. Driving down the street, they just jump out at you.

As for your question, yes I painted mine first. But it did have a pretty decent 302 in it at the time, so at least I could drive it when it was done. Now it's sitting in my garage up on 4 jackstands collecting dust, and watching the pile of new parts get bigger. hehehehehe

Try and hit one of the Fun Ford Weekends, there's a show! Street Renegades carrying the wheels the entire length of the track, cars running 8.90 on radials, 7's on 10.5" tires. True Street cars pulling parachutes after a 30 mile street cruise. Turbo cars EVERYWHERE, blowers, nitrous, ho ho ho ho ho (Tim Allen impression! HA!) Ours is this weekend at Norwalk, getting all psyched about it, even though my car is staying at home.
