Don't know what fitting to use. But if you're mounting a mechanical FP gauge inside the car, that is a real bad idea. You should ALWAYS mount mechanical gauges outside of the drivers compartment, just incase of a failure you don't get oil, coolant or fuel all inside the car with you.
If you want the gauge inside the car, get an electrical FP gauge.

I agree with the electrical, plus distancing the fuel pressure from its original location will cause variations in the pressure itsself.

autometer sells an isolator if you really want to mount it inside of the car i believe its something like 110 bucks though - i was going to mount a guage inside of mine but then the price swayed me otherwise. as for fittings though i cant really help you there

fittings
Hello,
I have a VDO fuel gauge on my schrader. I don't know the size but I bought my fitting from Holcomb Motorsports, usually front page of Muscle Mustangs, it was like 9 bucks with shipping

The schrader valve is 1/16" NPT. You will need a 1/16" NPT to whatever size barb for your hose (usually use -4AN on gauges). If you have a barb fitting that came with the gauge, it is most likely 1/8" NPT so you will need a 1/16" to 1/8" NPT adapter.
