Tuning tips for new crate motor
Hello all, I have a new 345 HP 302 from ford on the way to my house this week. I picked up a Performer RPM Manifold and a MSD pro billet dist. as well. The car will have an Edelbrock carb and full length headers with 2 1/2'' dual exhaust. The car has a C4 with a shift kit and a 9'' with 3.55. Does any one have any hints or tips for installing, breaking in, or tuning this new motor? Thanks! AJ

First thing to do is get rid of the Carter carb and buy a Holley Avenger or a B.G. Demon, it'll make tuning a lot easier.

Ditto on the CARB, get rid of the edelbrock carb and go with a Demon Carb or the holly. demons are extremely nice. not to expensive.. You'll feel alot more of your motor without the idelbrock carb.
