Which Tranny in 95 GT?
When I changed my tranny fliud this weekend I had all sorts of problems getting the right filter. The first filter was from Oreilly's for a 95 GT with an AODE supposedly. The pan gasket was square and the filter was shaped like a bananna. Needless to say that wasnt the right one. Well my pan was stamped "metric" and I had seen several AODs that had the stamp so I got a AOD filter. The pan gasket was correct, square but two corners were cut off, but the filter was wrong. I finally ended up with a filter for an AOT. Any one have any ideas what the deal is?

As far as I know the AOD-E is the tranny used in the 95GT.
I'd check another parts store just in case the wrong filter was in the right box, or the parts store's numbers are just screwed. |

I too have a 95, the filter is more of a trapazoid shape. Check around because I have gotten the wrong part in the right box from Orielly before. Driving back and forth at 8:45pm one night for a thermostat! They seem to have quite a few mislabels.
