It all depends on the rest of the your set that you plan. The key to heads is flow velocity . Bigger is not always better. If you install 1.94/60 valves with a competition 5 angle valve job with porting & polishing and port match the gasket, those heads will flow well. Then what you want is a cam that produces lots of low-mid range power, and a good intake & exhaust system. Remember, you want flow velocity so that's why you keep to a mild cam. BTW, I think those 30# injectors will be too much. I would go witth 24# injectors instead. Now, if you're looking for 6000+ shift points and plan on building a strip only car then by all means go with aftermarket heads. If you want a good street car, low end torque is what you want. BTW, 88 workcar , is running 11's with stock E7 heads with no power adders!
