subframes
What are some quality subframe connectors? I'm looking to buy
a good set of subframe connectors? What about Blue Oval Industries.....are they good. I saw an ad for them on Ebay for $50 new.

I got mine from CGS chassis on ebay $39 and only $53 total with shipping. they are weld in or bolt in I saved time with drilling and just welded mine in.

I got mine from Laurel Mountain, 57 bucks and had them welded in. Work great, good quality pieces.

just make sure to get weld in, not bolt on. As for the cross brass that secured to seat brackets, some say they can crack your floorboard some say they are better. mine are weld in w/o the cross brass and i like em. to each hiis own.

I have the weld in ones with the cross brace that connects to the seats, bought them off of ebay for about $50 shipping included you cant get to fancy on these there just metal rods basically just make sure there not warped, weld them in and make sure to undercoat and your good to go with almost any kind you buy but like everyone else I recomend the weld in style and the cross brace hasnt hurt my floor board or anything else.

I made mine and welded them in myself on both of my stangs. If you can weld, you can easily make your own in about 1 hour. Anyway, definitely weld them in place.

I'm probably going to go with the CGS ones from ebay.
I should of had these on a long time ago......along with an 8.8 rear. That's all going to change soon though.

Laurel Mountain mustangs has a great set for under 60bucks, I used them and just make sure you weld them in and not bolt in.

Get full length subframes weld ons. Don't bother with bolt on ones. I dont care for the tubular. I think the rectangular stock is much better in design and rigity.

Maximum Motorsports makes arguably the best ones out there, especially the full length ones. They are bent to the exact shape of the under side of the car and they fit great.

I will have to research these connectors, They look pretty slick opposed to the tube style connectors.

On there site it reads "Our full length subframe connectors are made of 1-1/4” x 2” x .083” wall thickness rectangular tubing" for the full length MM subframes.

Maximum Motorsports is VERY well known as one of the best road racing suspension companies out there, however they do make alot of street/strip stuff that is top notch as well.
and no i dont work for them
