Default upper controll arms

ok this is just a thought that i will not go threw with but i just wanted to know hwta everyone else thoiught

ok what about making a set of upper control arms out of round tubiong thick wall and then making the ends round like you have to for the buching and welding it up and sliding it in
do you guys/gals think it would work the same and hold up for everyday driving and track time 2 times a year ?

good idea to try or not i have the skills to make them its just i dont wont the mess it will make if i break them.

so let me know hat ya think

I think you can If you had a set to go by. I always believe you can make anything as long as you have the matierials and the equipment to do it with. Good luck with it whatever you decide to do.

Get the book Mustang Performance Handbook 2 (i think thats what it is) it has detailed diagrams and measurments of how to build upper and lower control arms as well as many other suspension parts. I bought the book last year but have been to lazy to do anything.

Uppers are a waste of time. My brother pulls 1.33 60fts on the stock uppers.
