ACT sensor location?
Hi everyone! I'd like to know if this is the ACT sensor which is suppose to be on the intake manifold on my 93 5.0. Here's the pic under the hood.Thanks!

Just curious....what does an ACT sensor do?

Air Charge Temperature. It measures the temp of the incoming air.

how often should you change them or how long do they typically last? what does a fouled ACT sensor cause?

Thanks all. Since the ACT sensor determines the charged air temperature from the intake, if faulty you would get stalling during cold startup and you'd probably be running lean and lose horsepower on the street, at least before the car warms up.

Hmmm, mines runs shitty when first started. I just write it off as having 20 ft. of extra tubing in the intake tract
