I have a 90gt with a stock hood and wanted to install a 3" cowl hood and was wondering whats a good hood and place to order it, I just want something simple nothing crazy.

Should I go fiberglass or metal? My car is a daily driver and I want a bigger cowl for looks and because I might install a intake spacer gasket on my new engine going in soon so just something simple is fine. My brother pains cars for a living so he was gonna paint it for me.

I strongly suggest you get a metal cowl hood. Sure its a little heavier but the Pros of the metal hood greatly outweigh the cons of a fiberglass hood.

Make sure you get stainless. That's what the stockers are. Chrome pipes rust very quickly, even if you try to take care of them. Florida car - no beach driving.

Nothing wrong with Fiberglass, just dont get a shitty brand. A Harwood or Cervinis is what you would want.

I would go with a hinged fiberglass hood. Also, if your brother is going to paint it for you then I'm sure he's prepped tons of fiberglass hoods by now and it won't be a big deal for him to do.

I have a fiberglass hinge hood, 3" cobra R from design concepts and am happy with the quality. Cervanis would definately be top notch though.
