BB Ford
Anyone on here done a BB conversion? I have a 429 police intercepter motor. Is it worth the hassel. Any input would be great.

Re: BB Ford
IMO, you would be better off building a 408 stroker motor.
That 429 engine probably needs rebuilt(I'm guessing). It would be much cheaper and easier to build a 351w block and put in there.

Re: BB Ford
Ive done it, Best friend has done it. I also am running a P.I. Motor at the time. It laid down this past season because im a dumb ass and did something stupid but DO IT. Its totally worth it. I absolutely love having a big block in my car. I am building a new motor for mine soon, 466, bigger cam, better pistons, worked DOVE heads..Those Pi heads are REAL good heads, work better for higher rpm engine than the regular ole DOVE heads. If you need anything and dont feel like posting it alot or what ever email me BradleyRJ@hotmail.com I will give you all the help I can.. Where exactly is Matton Il? Im in west ky and I dont think that Mattoon is to far of a drive from Mayfield where I am.
Need anything else dont be afraid to ask Brad

Re: BB Ford
I found a fuel injection site that can build a system for it. I am planning on using a victor intake. http://www.force-efi.com/machefi.htm Tell me what you think.

Re: BB Ford
Since money doesn't seem to be an issue, then go for the big block.

Re: BB Ford
This isn't going to be an overnight project just wanted some opinions to let me know if it was worth it or not. I've heard the phrase cubic inches is where it's at. Just wanted a little backup. Thanks for the input Coupe Devil I'll be keeping in touch with you.
