From what I can tell the balancer looks fine. I cant imagine that it would just go bad, given everything you have explained.

Take some pictures of the back side of the flywheel. Maybe if you take the starter off and rotate the flywheel until the weighted part comes visible we can tell you something.

Yeah, as far as I can tell, your balancer is fine. I couldn't tell much from the video. It'll be a bitch to do but I'd like to see some pics of the weight on the back of the flywheel. Of course, taking pictures through the starter hole is still better than removing the tranny.
