is the 87-93 style the same as the sn95 stlye? or do they interchange?

No. The 94/95 has a different mounting base.

Although 87-93 is not the same REGULATOR as the 95, but you can swap the entire fuel rail and regulator, and got with the 95. So in essence, you changed regulators (along with fuel rails, which happen to flow ever so slightly more).
