![]() They're both good, you'll have to decide if you'd rather run a different set of tires at the track or if you want something you can run on the street and then drop the pressure at the track and get good performance out of. The slicks will put stock axles and possibly stock transmissions at risk more than the drag radials, but it's hard to beat the hook you get from them. The drag radial will allow you better street traction and will allow you to run in DOT classes at the track and get good performance without switching to a dedicated tire-and will be easier on drivetrain parts.
I've got a se of 275/40-17 Nitto drag radials for the street and a set of 26x10 ET drags for the track myself.
