Default Installed Ported Intake...

I installed a stock intake this weekend that I had ported out pretty good, especialy on the 2 front runners where the turns were pretty tight. I'm not gonna lie, it didn't do much. The rest of the motor is stock and I have BBK longtubes with a 3 inch down to 2 1/2 inch Dr. Gas x-pipe with flowmaster 40series mufflers. It sounds a little smoother and maybe has a little more torque but nothing really noticable which is pretty disappointing. Next thing I need is some 3.73's, and maybe a nice turbo kit which will probably never happen. Anyone think maybe a Trickflow #1 cam or a mild anderson ford cam would help? I'll try and attach some pics of the ported intake runners.

Dont worry about a cam till you get some heads and when you get some heads ditch the stock intake. Good aluminum heads, a ported cobra intake and an E cam took me from 15's to 12's.

Yeah, post up some pics and I'll give you my opinion. the two front runners need more work than the rest, but they all need some work.

I actually checked out your site before porting my intake to get a few ideas on where need the most work, obviously being the front 2 runners. I took out a good amount, I actually ground through the lower shortside radius on the #5 runner and had to have it tig welded (which luckily only cost me $10). I keep trying to upload pics but it won't let me, it says invalid image. I can e-mail them to you if you want.
