Re: NOS or NoT??
How many miles are on this engine? Nitrous should only be use on "healthy" engines.
Yes, a stock engine, in good running condition can handle a 100 shot of juice. For an EFI car, you will want a "dry" nitrous system. I highly recommend that you first purchase a book about nitrous oxide and how it works before you order a kit.

Re: NOS or NoT??
Upgrade the fuel pump to a 190 or 255 lph. Do a compression test and then spray away. I personaly like the zex kit.(Dry)

Re: NOS or NoT??
I would still do some research on the use of NOS before you jump head first into something you know little or nothing about...especially nitrous.
If you don't, then that would just be plain stupid.

Re: NOS or NoT??
I have the NOS 5115 dry kit. I love it. I don't know if I'd slap a nitrous system on a motor with that many miles on it though. Unless you almost want to blow it up so that you can get the new motor underway. But as long as you have good compression across all 8 cylinders & you don't really burn oil up, you could go for it. You'll definitely need to upgrade your fuel pump, one step colder spark plugs, retard your timing down to 8-10 degrees btdc...and an aftermarket ignition would help too. Even if you did all of those things, I still wouldn't go over a 100 shot, maybe a 125 shot if everything seems ok.
