Default How much is...

A good set of heads? How much do they run? I keep seeing aluminum heads for $1000 but is that for just 1? I want a fast car, but I ain't paying $2000 for nothing! (Except for another 5.0)(or Nookie)

$2,000 for nookie?! I seriously hope you wouldn't spend that much dough on getting a piece of arse, lol. Unless of course you have one of them there money trees in your back yard.
All kidding aside...you can get a really good set of alum. heads for $1,000-$1,300. And yes, that's for BOTH cylinder heads. Years ago I bought my Edelbrock Performer RPM heads for about $1,000. If I could do it over again I think I'd go with AFRs or new TFS. I have heard a couple of negative things on this site about AFRs...but in my mind, they still rip.

You're gonna be a HAPPY camper!!!

Best way to find GOOD HEADS CHEAP, is find someone that's upgrading, or changine their combo. Racingjunk.com or (arrrgh) ebay. I sold my Windsor Sr. heads complete and ready to go for $700. Wish I wouldn't have, those were some killer iron heads. Oh well...
