Default Stepped racing headers.

I have an opportunity to buy some stepped Bassani long tube racing headers and a Bassani X pipe.

I currently have 1 5/8 equal length BBK headers and a custom 2 1/2-2 3/4 stepped H-pipe.

In order for me to drop 500 bux on some headers they would have to be worth a couple tenths in the 1/4.

Any input would be appreciated cause I dont know anyone with a 5.0 running stepped long tube headers.

Thanks,

I'm not sure about your particular application, but my buddy has a 406 in a Monza. Had stepped headers built for it, and gained 40 horse!

$500 really isn't a bad deal for those headers IMHO. I paid $400 for my new full length BBK (already jet-hot coated) so I vote go for it!

Thank you for your reply.

The guy paid 700 bux for them so 500 with the X-pipe sounds like a deal to me.

The custom cam with the stepped headers could make next season fun.

Oh hell! I thought you already HAD the X-pipe! I'd DEFINITELY jump on that deal! In fact, if you change your mind, lemme know! hehehehehehe
