What to Do
My charging system is still messed up, my buddy says I need a external regulator to run my amp off of and a guy up at Autozone said I need to switch to an Optima battery. Which 1 or both should I do, I keep killing new batteries.

Re: What to Do
The first thing you need to do is take the alt. off and have it checked on the bench. If you have a bad alt. all you are going to do is fry a brand new Optima battery. If the alt. is good, it may be a bad ground someware, check on the frame and by the starter. The Optima battery is an awesome upgrade though....... I run one in my car
btw....Autozone SUCKS....I worked for them for 3 years as a manager, and just quit in Dec.
