manual brakes?
hello eveyone!
i have a 88 GT that is only driven on weekends and raced about 3 weekends out of the year at the track. i was just woundering if it would be a good idea to switch to manual brakes? i also like the look under the hood it gives me more room. and one other thing i would like to go and put a race harmonic balancer but i dont know of a good one or one that would work good with my set up. SET UP: gt 40p heads, ford e cam, explorer intake,65mm thb, stock crank. i hope this isn't to much thanks mike |

Re: manual brakes?
I wouldnt, doesnt seem worth it to me. I think there are other things you could do to make your engine bay look better. Im not sure on the harmonic balancer, im sure others will have good suggestions for you. Good luck.

Re: manual brakes?
It may look cleaner but man they made the antilock brakes b/c they work better, I have abs in my 95 and it still stops like a dog running on ice. I am upgrading brakes when I get back from the middle east. I say keep abs
