Default Push Rod Length?

Just wondering what is the best way to check pushrod length, other than an adjustable pushrod.. I dont know if my stock ones would work either?

thanks

Best way is with an adjustable pushrod.

Why don't you want to use one??

I just picked one up.. But a friend told me that you can use a black sharpie, color the valve tip, turn the motor, rocker will clear black color and check if its too high or too low.. I think that the adjustable pushrod is the ideal thing to do..

Did you change heads, rockers, etc..? usually the company you purchase the product from will have a recommendation. i know trickflow sells custom lengths with their heads.

Ford Racing Tech Support 1-800-FORD788, not their direct line but they can point you in the right direction.
