Flomasters
Hi all i'am new here, but i have a question for you who care to comment.......
I want to put a pair of flowmasters on my 88lx, but i dont know what to buy ? Could someone explain the differences between the following: 40 super 40 delta 40 50 What are all of you stang guys with flowmasters running ? Thanks in advance. |

The only main difference is sound. Go to their website and listen to them. They have a description next to each one.

The 40 series are smaller 2 chamber mufflers. The 50 series are larger 3 chamber mufflers. The 40's are louder with slightly less back pressure. I use 3 chamber 50's on my car and they are still pretty loud. The 40's would be slightly higher performance than the 50's but I doubt you could tell the difference. FlowMaster does make a 70 series that are larger still and probably quieter. As Ryan said, there would lots more info on the FlowMaster web site.

ive got 40's on my car and IMO it sounds the best...specially at idle gets me hard every time I stop at a light! lol
