5 lug for a 86 GT
I recently purchased a 86 Gt and would like to know the easiest way to replace the factory 4 lug rotors witha set of 5 lugs. Thanks

Re: 5 lug for a 86 GT
The easiest way would be to get 5 lug rotors for the front (keep the stock calipers). Swap to 5 lug axles in the rear then get 5 lug drums off an aerostar or ranger. But I say if you're going to the trouble to swap to 5 lugs might as well upgrade to better brakes while you're at it. Check out this site for info on different swaps.

If you have 10 inch brakes, ranger rotors (80s) will work, If they are 11 inch, I believe late 80s Lincoln MK7 rotors will fit. This is the cheap way.

Re: 5 lug for a 86 GT
Not sure about an 86, but I used the front spindles and parts from a 95 stang so I could go 5 lug and fit the 17X8's up front on my 88. You could find them at a local junk yard too most likely
