Red face emissions help

I took and failed the sniffer test with the hydro standard 2.4 on my car (87 lx 100,000 plus miles)mine was 3.3 I was thinking of dropping the fuel press and pull one inj. wire but how low can I go on the press
any help will be great

Without knowing any other info about your set up, it's really hard to say. The key to passing is new cats. Other than that: freshly tuned, lower fuel pressure, and as hot as you can get it without boiling over is your best bet at passing.

sorry about the lack of info. I have mac cat back, msd 6al , msd 8.5 wires, msd coil, bbk cold air(heat wrapped) 3/8 intake spacer paxton adj reg ,asp pullies, ford racing 65mm tb and egr spacer ford racing 190lph pump(I know I dont need that much of a pump now but I am getting new heads/ intake over the winter, the rest is drivetrain and susp. mods(no gears yet waiting to see if going nat,blower or the funny gas

A sure fire way to pass is to run the tank way down, and add a couple-three bottles of ISO HEET to your gas tank. The fuel antifreeze (isopropyl alcohol) will go the the bottom of the tank, and burn ultra clean.

After you pass, fill up with gas. It's not something I would recommend doing a lot, but it will get you to pass as alcohol doesn't make any emissions.
