			 It is installed as you described,it is run all the way in away from firewall (full loose?), so Q is the plastic piece of cable (that fits into the adjuster) supposed to spin freely inside the first lock ring, right now it tries to turn the whole cable but it's so tight I think full loose is all I can get away with right now. 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
			But when it stretches the only way I see it could work is to spin inside the ring as to allow it pull on the cable, then lock it down with 2nd lock ring? Am I getting close to comprehending this thing
