![]() Gents,
Something is very bad in my motor. My fuel injectors have managed to fill up the intake with fuel. I put the key in the ignition, haven't even tried to turn the car over for 6 weeks. No cranking at all and it filled up at least 3 cylinders. I heard a "tick tick" from the injectors and thought that was weird. Well, this is bad. What the hell happened? History: Car was running fine, then stopped one day idling in driveway. That's it. Will not hold fuel pressure (cause it's dumping into the cylinders)... Update: Constant 12v to each injector with the ignition on, no pulsing, just constant...

![]() Swapped computers and voila!
I pulled the plugs and shot the fuel out. It started up, but I only ran it for a minute b/c I feared fuel contamination. Sure enough, the oil had a quart of fuel in it easy. I was worried I would spin a bearing, but it seems to be okay after a fresh oil change. No valve ticking at all. I just have a bad intake backfire, I didn't rtv the intake gasket b/c I was in a rush. So, that should be it... I'll let you know. ![]()

![]() Three day update:
a.Properly sealed the upr/lwr intake b.Hooked the Anderson PMS back up, what a great piece of eqpt. The stang has been running fine for two days commuting, steady idle, good accel, 02's are reading normally although my wideband is on my h-pipe and it's showing a leaner condition than the 02's farther upstream. I'm wondering if the lack of backpressure is adversely affecting the wideband reading. I had it installed by a great Mustang performance shop guy, so I want to doubt that theory. Btw, I think the Amderson PMS is a great piece of gear, despite the price.

![]() Yeah, I only have 10k on the new motor and was sweating that I jacked up the bearings.
I still will perform a compression test on each cylinder, but what is done is done. It seems to be okay, just needs a little tuning on the low end and she'll be okay. This is what happens when you don't fire the stang up for 7 weeks. They get angry, very very angry.

![]() You said you swapped computers, wonder if the old one was just feeding a constant pulse to those couple injectors, never seen anything like that, ever! I guess the injector could be leaking but that would only be under the fuel system being pressurized......hmmm, WILD pic!
