Default Yet another Cam Question

My friend bought an 89 coupe that had already been swiched to a carb.
He's building a 347 with a main girdle,185 afr heads, long tubes, ect.
Now it had a Torker 2 intake and a 750 holley(not sure about carb),
Is the intake any good as we no nothing about carbs and he only knows chevys (got the mustang itch )
What cam should he get? He's going with 10.0:1 pistons so should he get a custom cam, he wants it to thump as it'll be 90% strip and we have no inspections here.
Any suggestions appreciated on cam and intake , carb too!!!
Thanks
Wes

I have a torker II intake on my 1993 coupe and I dont think its up to the task of feeding a stroker.

A custom cam would be your best bet.

Default Re: Yet another Cam Question

The torker can be ported to feed better and if matched to a custom cam it will work well, but maybe a new intake is in order. Cam choice is always a critical choice.
