Re: inteceptor
If you plan on heavy mods, the 93 came with the weak hypo pistons, not good for anything. If not, then it better be in outstanding shape for 7k, and from my experience, most former SSP cars were used and abused pretty good. Be sure to do a Kelly blue Book comparison and as mentioned before, give a run down of current mods, miles and condition if you want a good honest opinion.

Re: inteceptor
There is an official ssp website, forgot the link, but I found good info on mine, I even removed the "dogg tag" off the radiator support, found out all kinds of info, like options it came with, the dso code, and that mine was first registered in houston, and was a Texas highway patrol.
I paid 6900 for mine in 1999, was clean, still is, but Now i have it modded, alot of the ssp guys dont like them being modded all to hell, but hey you only live once. Oh, and I dont see any sign of my car been abused by the law, except for what i've done to it lol.

Re: inteceptor
Good find coupe50h, I also almost bought one back in 1998, ended up not buying it and heard from the dealer that 3 weeks after a guy bought it, a tie rod broke and sent him in a ditch at 65mph...ouch.

Re: inteceptor
I had a tie rod/steering rack issue at one time, made my car wonder around on the highway, threw in an autozone replacement, and didnt even have to align it, drives straight as an arrow..... although i plan on getting it aligned just for peace of mind.
