More Power Help
I have a Stock 1995 Mustage GT with 5.0 Liter engine, Painted black with black leather interior.
I want to bore it out by 30, but while I have the engine out, what do you suggest to do to increase horsepower? (cam, heads, intake, ingnition, exhaust) I thought I would put 3K into the engine, give or take. If I could increase HP by 100 to 150 or more I would like to. What is the best combination for heads and intake? What Cam would you run? I have some ideas, but you all have already done it. Thanks |

Re: More Power Help
Trickflow and Holly have some proven good combos that work and sell in packages. Any free flowing exhaust will do you some good from a h/c/i combo. Iwould suggest a gear if you have some money left over. Good luck.

Re: More Power Help
As Dark mentioned, AFR's are good out of the box heads as well as the trickflows, the Z303 cam is a good choice as well and the Trickflow stage one. Good Luck.
